MA_775_DIABLO [31]

A nation should go to war when it fells threatened and it’s people are getting killed. Just take this for example when the Louisiana got sanked by a German u- boat American public opinion was going high.

Yes war shapes future in foreign policy because when American soldiers got back from European battle fields they were so scared they never wanted to leave the United States after the War until World war 2. Also trading borders were locked until after the war with the treaty of Versailles, Wilson 14 points allowed trading with foreign county’s.

keep in mind I’m in the 8 th grade and taking 10th grade history.

How did Union forces eventually defeat Vicksburg?
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

They laid siege to the city for many days.

Explanation:

Once Grant arrived at his destination, he found the city too strong to assault, so he had his men build trenches and laid siege to the city.

The siege began in May of 1863 and lasted until July 4. With no hope of reinforcements, and his men starving, Confederate General John Pemberton finally surrendered the city.
