Dystopian novels inform readers by telling them about the past and present problems that society has or is facing at the time. They hide details in their lore or main characters (mostly the bad guys) and they have subtle hints into the deeper meanings of life!

St. Trophîme at Arles has a rich Roman heritage. Which of the following most accurately describes the frieze above the freestand
Shalnov [3]

Answer: I would contend that the right answer is the B) It recalls the sculptured fronts of late antique sarcophagi.

Explanation: Just to elaborate a little on the answer, it can be added that resorting to examples from antique sarcophagi seems to be very logical, due to the rectangular shape of the frieze at St. Trophîme and to the fact that it is set against the wall of the building and that it features a series of figures placed next to each other, almost as in a procession. Most Roman sarcophagi had the shape of a rectangular box and they were only decorated on the front and the two short sides. In addition, late antique sarcophagi started to feature Christian iconography, so the artists working at St. Trophîme surely found them useful as models.

Yvonne's goal was to buy a brand new home within a year. She's afraid that she will be unable to save the money that she needs f
Mandarinka [93]
The correct answer is b. Borrow the money for the down payment and pay it back later.

If Yvonne does the choice B, she will end up being more financially unable. All the other choices including delaying to buy the home for a few months, adjusting her budget to save more, and taking a part time job to earn extra income could help her. So the one thing she shouldn't do is b. Borrow the money for the down payment and pay it back later.

jeyben [28]

Answer:

The little girl, holding a basket of food, is most likely going to be hurt by the wolf. Animals, especially those who are hungry, will attack when it comes to food. As it is a little girl, the wolf will most likely walk away unharmed.

Explanation:

If this is based on red riding hood, rather than you opinion, the girl will be eaten and the wolf will later die.
