The Historical Approaches to Management This activity is important because management practices have developed from decades of m

anagement practice and theory. Each approach to management developed as the needs and issues confronting managers changed over time. Understanding the evolutionary process helps to clarify how managers operate in the current organizational environment. The historical perspective of management thought is divided into two major sections:
1. classical approaches
2. contemporary approaches.
Many of these approaches to managing people and organizations overlapped as they developed and had significant impact on one another. The goal of this activity is to sequence classical and contemporary management approaches appropriately. Hover over each item to read a hint. Then, drag the item to the corresponding management practice or theory.

Answer:

Explanation:

The Classical Perspective of Management

The classical perspective of management, which emerged from the Industrial Revolution, focuses on improving the efficiency, productivity, and output of employees, as well as the business as a whole. However, it generally does not focus on human or behavioral attributes or variances among employees, such as how job satisfaction improves employee efficiency.

Contemporary management approaches:

Classical, Behavioral and scientific management approaches tend to focus more on the internal workings of organizations. The contributions of each school's of thought are still being applied today. However both researchers and practitioners are now giving more attention to interaction of the organizations with their external environment. The contemporary approaches to management include:

1. The Systems Theory

2. The Contingency Theory

When derivative classifiers incorporate classified information from existing content into a new document, and no additional inte
scoray [572]

Answer:

"contained in"

Explanation:

Just as it is given in the question above, the responsibility of derivative classifiers is to make sure an already classified documents or data is used in the production of a new set of data or documents and this new set of data or document or information must include things or sources from the original classified documents or data.

As simple as ABC, When there is NO need for additional interpretation or analysis in order to get the classification of that information, then the concept we are dealing with is that of "CONTAINED IN".

If there is a need for additional interpretation or analysis in order to get the classification of that information, then the concept we are dealing with is that of "Revealed by".

do you think a tyrant is more likely to take over in an oligarchy or in a democracy? Why Do you Think so?
Travka [436]

Answer:

More likely to take over democracy

Explanation:

Looking at the modern political world, it seems much less far-fetched to me now. In democratic nations like Turkey, the U.K., Hungary, Brazil and the U.S., anti-elite demagogues are riding a wave of populism fueled by nationalist pride. It is a sign that liberal constraints on democracy are weakening.

To philosophers, the term “liberalism” means something different than it does in partisan U.S. politics. Liberalism as a philosophy prioritizes the protection of individual rights, including freedom of thought, religion and lifestyle, against mass opinion and abuses of government power.
