Why did the british enact the navigation acts?

History

The main reason why the British enacted the Navigation Acts was to increase their revenues by ensuring that the colonies only used certain countries/ships to facilitate trade with other nations. This greatly angered the colonists and was one of things that led to the American Revolution.

Why did the mujahedeen receive US support even though they were against some American ideals?
ra1l [238]
Because the Mujahideen were fighting against the common enermy of the US; the Soviet Union. Because this was the case, it wasn't hard for the US to support them and supply them with various things. Because they detested the Soviet Union so much, they were willing to side with them in this case.

How did Japanese interment camps violate the constitution?
Julli [10]
I believe that the belief for violation of the constitution regarding Japanese Internment Camps during World War II stems from the constitutional right to trial.

Taken from their homes and having their items and properties repossessed over their heritage infringes on the right to trial in virtually every sense. Despite not committing crimes and not undergoing trial, they were considered immediately guilty.

Hope I could help!
