Square root of 20 + square root pf 45 - square root of 5. Well if that is so, how to get a square root which is the little 2 is just multiplying the number by its self so 20x20=400 and 45x45= 2,025 and 5x5=25 so 400+2,025-25=2,400

State if each triangle is acute, obtuse,or right using Pythagorean theorem converse.
shtirl [24]

Answer:

Right triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Properties for acute, obtuse or right triangle,

1). Given triangle will be a right triangle if,

   Hypotenuse² = (Leg 1)² + (Leg 2)²

2). Triangle will be an acute triangle if,

   (Largest side)² < (leg 1)² + (leg 2)²

3). Triangle will be an obtuse triangle if,

   (Largest side)² > (leg 1)² + (leg 2)²

Now we apply these properties in the given triangle,

(Largest side)² = (√11105)²

                        = 11105

(leg 1)² = (76)²

           = 5776

(leg 2)² = (73)²

            = 5329

Since 11105 = 5776 + 5329 (First Property)

11105 = 11105

Therefore, given triangle is a right triangle.

john collecrs cards. he collects 44 red, 67 blue cards, and 52 yellow. he puts 9 in protective sheets how many full sheets does
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

He has 18 full sheets.

Step-by-step explanation:

44 + 52 + 67 = 163

163/9 = 18.11

The question specifically asks for a whole number, not a decimal or fraction, so the answer is 18 full sheets.

(-1,-2) and (3, -162) a. Is there a line th(at goes through these two points? How do you know? If there is one, what is the equa
lana [24]

Answer:

The equation of line for given points is y = - 40 x - 42

Step-by-step explanation:

Given two points as :

( -1 , - 2 )  and ( 3 , - 162 )

Now, Equation of line in points form

y - y_1 = m × ( x -  x_1 )

Where m is the slope of line

And, m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

or, m = \frac{ - 162 + 2}{ 3 + 1}

or, m =  \frac{ - 160}{ 4}

∴   m = - 40

So, Slope of line for given points is - 40

Now equation of line can be written as

y - ( - 2 ) = ( - 40 ) × ( x -  ( - 1 ) )

or, y + 2 =  ( - 40 ) × ( x + 1 )

or, y + 2 = - 40 x - 40

or, y = - 40 x - 40 - 2

∴  y = - 40 x - 42

Hence the equation of line for given points is y = - 40 x - 42    Answer

Given f(x) = 3x + 4 and g(x) = 8x + 1
then what is ( f + g )(0))?

*****HELP*^^^^^^
pochemuha

     •   f(x) = 3x + 4

     •   g(x) = 8x + 1

Sum both functions above:

     (f + g)(x) = f(x) + g(x)

     (f + g)(x) = (3x + 4) + (8x + 1)

     (f + g)(x) = 3x + 8x + 4 + 1

     (f + g)(x) = 11x + 5

Therefore,

     (f + g)(0) = 11 · 0 + 5

     (f + g)(0) = 0 + 5

     (f + g)(0) = 5   <———   this is the answer.

I hope this helps! =)
