Include two specific examples of Dravot and Carnehan embracing their fantasy of being kings
Step2247 [10]

Two specific examples of Dravot and Carnehan embracing their fantasy of being kings are:

- Dravot breaks a man's neck -this man was trying to rob other men- and then fires a gun at twenty more men. Because of this, the men think he is a great god and they make him their king, and so Dravot says that he would make fine nation out of them, or he would perish in the making. This properly shows him embracing his fantasy of being king.

- Carnehan conquers a different kingdom and tells Dravot that the abundance of his kingdom is more than he could ever handle. Subsequently, Dravot crowns himself and Carnehan too. Carnehan considers the crowning a proper miracle. This last sentence properly shows him embracing his fantasy of being king.

Which of the following is correct?
DaniilM [7]
Liz shouted for everyone to leave the building and "Liz shouted for everyone to leave the building."
(Can you choose two?)

Number one isn't correct, because even if someone was saying Liz shouted for everyone to leave the building, the period should be inside the quotations, not outside, so that one's incorrect either way.

The next one, it should be Liz shouted for, "everyone to leave the building." So the comma is in the wrong place for that one.

Are these similes or metaphors
Sliva [168]
Just so you know...

A simile is comparing something with something else using 'like' or 'as' (for example - I swam in the sea like a fish or my room is like a tip).

A metaphor is a word or phrase that compares something with something else (for example - his heart is metal or my room is a tip). Hope this makes sense!

1. The road was as curvy as a snake - Simile

2. My mum told me that my room is like a pigsty - Simile

3. Mike is like a scared kitten as he enters the haunted house - Simile

Hope I helped!

Khianna just learned that microscopic, tiny, small, and miniscule are all synonyms.
borishaifa [10]
Hello.

The correct answer is "A.) Thesaurus". This is because Thesauruses contain most or all synonyms and antonyms, while dictionaries contain primarily just definitions and pronunciation. Encyclopedias are Internet-based sources that contain videos, images, and other information, but do not contain synonyms.
A glossary is essentially a very brief dictionary; it contains terms and definitions, reference pages, and all the sorts. But they do not contain synonyms.

I hope this helps!
