Write two to three sentences explaining one way that Ovid creates suspense in "Pyramus and Thisbe." Support your response with d
bezimeni [28]

Answer and Explanation:

Ovid managed to generate suspense in "Pyramus and Thisbe" from the beginning of the narrative, when only young people communicate through a small space between their homes, and they can be discovered at any time by someone who would prevent them from being together. However, the high point of the suspense is portrayed at the end of the poem, when Ovid causes Pyramus to find his beloved's bloody vein and is extremely sad, making the reader unable to know what he will actually do, until he decides he needs to die. Furthermore, the suspense gets even greater when Thisbe finds her beloved dead and decides to have the same end.

Which characteristic of transcendentalism does the following statement by Amos Bronson Alcott exemplify?
kvv77 [185]

The characteristic of transcendentalism exemplified by the statement is "People should trust their intuition over their senses" in option B and explained below.

What is the statement about?

Alcott's statement claims that people who speak to the instincts find the readiest response. Our instincts would be that natural, almost animal-like feelings and impulses we have to act.

What he is saying is basically that, if we trust our intuition, if we don't overthink, we will find the answers we need quickly. That is why the characteristic of transcendentalism in the statement is "People should trust their intuition over their senses."

With the information above in mind, we can choose option B as the correct answer.
