I believe the answer would be mineral deposit. coral reefs are affected by blast fishing, due to the explosives used. and they are affected by global warming and change of climates, which causes bleaching. soil runoffs etc. can cause erosion and affect the coral easily. while mineral deposit has no harmful effect on coral
