Think of one of your favorite characters from a story that you have read. Why is this character one of your favorites? Does the
character change in the story? If so, what changes does the character undergo in the story? What qualities of the character would you like to have in your own life? Why?

Explanation:
In the book, an abundance of katherines by John Green, a boy named colin goes on a road trip with his best friend after a break-up. I like colin because he doesn't try to be stereotypically "cool" like everyone else. He knows what he likes. In the story, colin changes after he meets a girl who isn't named katherine (colin dated many, many katherines and only katherines). Her name was Lindsey Lee. After he met her, he was more of a risk taker and he found it within himself to let someone in to his heart again. Some qualities in colin that i would like to have would be to go your own way and to know who would stick by you no matter what. These qualities would be good to have in real life because sticking up for yourself can be hard, but so is knowing who your friends are.
"When you ride in a 1967 car, the world just seems to move a little slower." and "There you are, waiting for the bad news, when a relative starts laughing loudly." are two sentences written in second-person point of view.
