At the very end of the excerpt, we can see three different aspects criticized, which are money, friends, and property:

Money: <em>I heard of the division of property; of rank, descent, and noble blood and squalid poverty</em>. The speaker clearly exposes the financial differences among the population.

Friends: <em>by your fellow-creatures</em>, in this phrase, we can see that the speaker puts some distance by using the word "creatures" instead of any other, readers can understand that the speaker does not give relevance to people around him.

Property: <em>A man might be respected with only one of these acquisitions</em>. In this phrase, we can see that the speaker deducts property is the only way to gain respect.
