Hello,

x<y<z (1)
xy=6b (2)
yz=8b (3)
xz=175 (4)

(2)/(3)==>x/z=6/8==>x=3z/4 (5)
(4) and (5)==>3z/4*z=175==>z²=700/3==>z=√(700/3) (6)
(5) and (6)==>x=3/4*√(700/3) (7)

(1) and (7) ==>3/4*√(700/3)<y<√(700/3) (8)
(8)*z==>3/4*√(700/3)*√(700/3)<yz<√(700/3)*√(700/3)
==>175<yz<700/3

Question<br> Evaluate the expression.<br><br> (−112)2
denis23 [38]

Answer:

1/144

step explanation:

(-1/12)^2 is -1/12 multiplied by itself twice. When multiplying fractions you can multiply straight across. When two negatives are multiplied together it makes a positive, so the answer is 1/144.

12+root of 35 divided by 2 + 12-2 root of 35 divided by 2
nadya68 [22]
So : 12+ \frac{\sqrt{35}}{2} + \frac{12-2 \sqrt{35} }{2}?

First, you want to bring everything together on the top of the fraction.
12=24/2 so you can have \frac{24+ \sqrt{35}+12-2 \sqrt{35} }{2}

Add like terms -- 12 +24 = 36       \sqrt{35}-2 \sqrt{35} = \sqrt{35}

Now we are at \frac{24+ \sqrt{35} }{2} Which is the lowest possible simplified version while remaining at exact value.

Feel free to check my math! I kinda did this off the top of my head.

Answer ASAP/. What is 2 1/2 and 2.4 and 2.35 and 2 1/8 listed and greatest to least// I need the answer ASAP
crimeas [40]
Since 1/2=0.5 and 1/8=0.125, we have 2.5, 2.4, 2.35, and 2.125. The first number we look for is the one to the left, and they're all the same, so that doesn't necessarily help. Next, we have a 5, 4, 3, and 1. They're already in order from greatest to least, so that's awesome!

Write an equation parallel to the line y=3/2x-2 that goes through (5,1) in point slope form.
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer: y=3/2x-13/2

Step-by-step explanation:

concept to know: two parallel lines have the same slope

y=3/2x+b

in order to find b or the y-intercept, we plug the point in

y=3/2x+b

1=3/2(5)+b

1=15/2+b

b=-13/2

----------------------------

y=3/2x-13/2

Hope this helps!! :)
