For this lab you will do 2 things:
zepelin [54]

Answer:

Here is the Python program:

COOKIES_PER_BAG = 40 #sets constant value for bag of cookies

SERVINGS_PER_BAG = 10 #sets constant value for serving in bag

CALORIES_PER_SERVING = 300 #sets constant value servings per bag

cookies = int(input("How many cookies did you eat? ")) #prompts user to input how many cookies he or she ate

totalCalories = cookies * (CALORIES_PER_SERVING / (COOKIES_PER_BAG / SERVINGS_PER_BAG)); #computes total calories consumed by user

print("Total calories consumed:",totalCalories) #displays the computed value of totalCalories consumed

Explanation:

The algorithm is:

  • Start
  • Declare constants COOKIES_PER_BAG, SERVINGS_PER_BAG and CALORIES_PER_SERVING
  • Set COOKIES_PER_BAG to 40
  • Set SERVINGS_PER_BAG to 10
  • Set CALORIES_PER_SERVING to 300
  • Input cookies
  • Calculate totalCalories:                                                                                                                       totalCalories ← cookies * (CALORIES_PER_SERVING / (COOKIES_PER_BAG / SERVINGS_PER_BAG))
  • Display totalCalories

I will explain the program with an example:

Lets say user enters 5 as cookies he or she ate so

cookies = 5

Now total calories are computed as:

totalCalories = cookies * (CALORIES_PER_SERVING / (COOKIES_PER_BAG / SERVINGS_PER_BAG));

This becomes:

totalCalories = 5 * (300/40/10)

totalCalories = 5 * (300/4)

totalCalories = 5 * 75

totalCalories = 375

The screenshot of program along with its output is attached.

decide that when online customers and retail stores order bikinis, they will never have to wait more than two weeks for the order to arrive.

Explanation:

Based on the information provided within the question it can be said that in this scenario the best action that Helena can take is to decide that when online customers and retail stores order bikinis, they will never have to wait more than two weeks for the order to arrive. Otherwise she will begin to lose customers constantly by not having stock or shipping the product in time. These losses will continue to amass and may eventually ruin her business.

Instructions The population of town A is less than the population of town B. However, the population of town A is growing faster
weeeeeb [17]

Answer: The c++ program is given below.

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main() {

float townA, townB, growthA, growthB, populationA, populationB;

    int year=0;

cout<<"Enter present population of town A : ";

cin >> townA;

cout<<endl<<"Enter present growth rate of town A : ";

cin >> growthA;

growthA = growthA/100;

cout<<endl<<"Enter present population of town B : ";

cin >> townB;

cout<<endl<<"Enter present growth rate of town B : ";

cin >> growthB;

growthB = growthB/100;

do

{

    populationA = townA + (townA * growthA);

    populationB = townB + (townB * growthB);

    townA = populationA;

    townB = populationB;

    year++;

}while(populationA < populationB);

cout<<endl<<"After " <<year<< " years, population of town A is "<<populationA << " and population of town B is "<< population<<endl;

return 0;

}

Explanation:

All the variables for population and growth rate are declared with float datatype.

The user inputs the present population of both the towns.

The growth rate entered by the user is the percentage growth.

For example, town A has 10% growth rate as shown in the output image.

The program converts 10% into float as 10/100.

growthA = growthA/100;

growthB = growthB/100;

The above conversion is done to ease the calculations.

The year variable is declared as integer and initialized to 0.

The growth in population is computed in a do-while loop. After each growth is calculated, the year variable is incremented by 1.

The loop continues until population of town A becomes greater than or equal to population of town B as mentioned in the question.

Once the loop discontinues, the final populations of town A and town B and the years needed for this growth is displayed.

The new line is introduced using endl keyword.

The function main has return type int hence, 0 is returned at the end of the program.

A chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is performing a BIA for the organization in case of a natural disaster. Which of the
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is option (D) Identify the impact on safety of the property

Explanation:

Solution

In every Business Impact Analysis, the first and the most important step is for the CISO is to identify and estimate the impact of the aftereffects on the business and property of an organization that may be occurred from the disaster.

Physical security is very important, but it is not noticed by most organizations. It is important if you do not want anyone to take  away your information or destroy it, in case of natural calamity. the reason could be that, the intruder is  doing it for his personal achievement, financial gain,or seeking revenge or when one is taken unaware and becomes a target. If this security is not maintained properly all the safety measures will not be useful once the attacker gets through by gaining physical access.

Example of property can be software, equipment, facilities, company’s assets.
