Find the area of a circle with a circumference of 31.4 units.<br> help me please
hram777 [196]

Answer:

Area = 78.5

Step-by-step explanation:

31.4 = 2 x pi X r

r = 31.4/(2xpi) = 31.4(2 x 3.14) = 5

Area = pi x r^2 = 3.14 X 5^2 =3.14 x 25 =  78.5 units^2

Elizabeth brought a box of donuts to share. There are two-dozen (24) donuts in the box, all identical in size, shape, and col
Wewaii [24]
This is a probability problem with two dependent events and conditional probability. Note that after the first donut is chosen, it is not replaced into the data set, so only 23 donuts remain. If we set A=selection of a lemon-filled, and B=selection of a custard-filled, then P(A and B) = P(A)*P(B|A), where P(B|A) means the probability of B happening given that A has already occurred.P(A) = 8/24 = 1/3 = 0.333333P(B|A) = 12/23 = 0.521739P(A and B) = 1/3(12/23) = 12/69 = 0.1739130435 or 17.4%

Andrew wants to know how many 3/16 pound servings are in a bag containing 7/8 pound of granola. Part A. Write an expression to r
tia_tia [17]
Whys u have to do is find a common denominator between 7/8 and 3/16. 8x2 equals 16 and what ever u do to the denominator u have to do to the numerator. So do 7x2 and u will get 14/16. For A it answer should be the 1st pic and the answer to number 2 is 14/16. Hope it helps! :)
