One barrier in communication is being deaf (hard of hearing). This can cause many difficulties in communication due to people not hearing you. Although to overcome this barrier we can learn ASL (American sign language) to speak to each other in another language using our hands.
This is just an example but the main focus is dead and ASL to overcome hope this helps :)
