Railways and steam lines.

Explanation:

In 1800 there was a great technological advance in relation to transport. At that time, highways and steam lines were created that changed the transportation of people and especially of goods.

What were the good and bad parts of involving Washington politicians in the farm movement
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Th grange

The alliance

The populists

Explanation:

The Grange, or Order of the Patrons of Husbandry (the latter official name of the national organization, while the former was the name of local chapters, including a supervisory National Grange at Washington), was a secret order founded in 1867 to advance the social needs and combat the economic backwardness of farm life.

The Farmers Alliance was an organized agrarian economic movement among American farmers that developed and flourished ca. 1875. The movement included several parallel but independent political organizations — the National Farmers' Alliance and Industrial Union among the white farmers of the South, the National Farmers' Alliance among the white and black farmers of the Midwest and High Plains, where the Granger movement had been strong, and the Colored Farmers' National Alliance and Cooperative Union, consisting of the African American farmers of the south.

As an economic movement, the Alliance had a very limited and short term success. Cotton brokers who had previously negotiated with individual farmers for ten bales at a time now needed to strike deals with the Alliance men for 1,000 bale sales. This solidarity was usually short-lived, however, and could not withstand the retaliation from the commodities brokers and railroads, who responded by boycotting the Alliance and eventually broke the power of the movement. The Alliance had never fielded its own political candidates.

How many years are between 100 bce & 100 ce? please provide an explanation too
aev [14]

Answer:

199 years

Explanation:

The BCE is known as Before the Common Era, while CE means Common Era. And because the year is counted downwards, 100 BCE to CE is expected to be 100 years. However, because there is no 0 CE, hence that would be 99 years.

Also, adding the next 100 CE years, that will make the total sum of 199 years.

In other words, The calculation is 100 BCE + 100 CE, which equals 200 years. However, there is a need to adjust for the absence of year 0. This is done by subtracting 1 from the answer, hence, 200 minus 1 is 199.

How does the Eucharist unite is to Christ and to one another
kozerog [31]
The Eucharist is the actual Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, which He has established so that He may be with us always and unite ourselves in the most intimate and spiritual manner through Holy Communion. However, this can only be done if two conditions are met: you truly believe, and you are in a state of grace (have been to confession recently). Without those two conditions, then you are doing more than wasting your time, you are calling condemnation down on yourself (1 Cor 11:29). The second (what unites us to one another) is that in our baptism, and in our receiving Holy Communion (worthily) we become more and more part of the Mystical Body of Christ on earth, i.e. the Holy Catholic Church.
