Answer:

the triangle is not right angled traingle

Step-by-step explanation:

For a right angle triangle

a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}   where a is the base , b is the height and c is the hypotenuse

taking a= 6 b = 14 and c = 15

hence 6^{2} +14^{2} = 15^{2}

         36+196 = 232 which is not equal to 225

therefore the triangle is not right angled traingle

The 90% confidence interval for the mean one week amusing time in new york city is 5.22 less than mean less than 5.98 minutes co
jasenka [17]

The 95% confidence interval based on the same data is 5.15 < μ < 6.05

Because it has a longer interval, the 95 percent confidence interval offers more details.

<h3>What is a confidence interval?</h3>

The likelihood that a parameter will fall between two values near the mean is shown by a confidence interval.

Confidence intervals quantify how certain or uncertain a sampling technique is.

Confidence intervals are used by statisticians to gauge the degree of uncertainty in a sample variable.

The 90% confidence interval is given by:

Mean - 1.645(S.D./\sqrt{n}) < μ < Mean + 1.645(S.D./\sqrt{n})

2μ = 5.22 + 5.98 = 11.2

μ = 11.2 / 2 = 5.6

Thus,

5.6 - 5.22 = 1.645(S.D./\sqrt{n}) = 0.38

S.D./\sqrt{n} = 0.38 / 1.645 = 0.231

The 95% confidence interval is given by:

Mean - 1.96(S.D./\sqrt{n}) < μ < Mean + 1.96(S.D./\sqrt{n})

=5.6 - 1.96(0.231) < μ < 5.6 + 1.96(0.231)

= 5.6 - 0.4528 < μ < 5.6 + 0.4528

= 5.15 < μ < 6.05

The 95% confidence interval provides more information because it has a larger interval.

To go bowling, it costs $2 to rent shoes and then $3.25 for each game bowled. Which of the following functions gives the total c
vekshin1
2+3.25g=y
G would be the independent variable, which means the total cost would depend on it since it depends on the number of games you bowl. Y could be any variable, such as T or C.

Answer:

\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x

Step-by-step explanation:

\textsf{Mulitply by}\quad\dfrac{\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x}{\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x}:

\implies \dfrac{y^2}{\sqrt{x^2+y^2}+x} \times \dfrac{\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x}{\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x}

\implies \dfrac{y^2(\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x)}{(\sqrt{x^2+y^2}+x)(\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x)}

\implies \dfrac{y^2(\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x)}{(\sqrt{x^2+y^2})^2-x^2}

\implies \dfrac{y^2(\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x)}{x^2+y^2-x^2}

\implies \dfrac{y^2(\sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x)}{y^2}

\textsf{Cancel the common factor}\:y^2:

\implies \sqrt{x^2+y^2}-x
