aliina [53]

Answer:

30 N

Explanation:

Data:

The net force is the difference in the forces on the box. Suppose the box was being pulled by a force of 60 N and the frictional force was 30 N. The net force would be given as:

F_{net} = F_{box} - F_{fric}

In a sample of double stranded dna if 19% of the nitrogenous bases are guanine what percent of the nitrogenous bases are adenine
Georgia [21]

Answer:

31%

Explanation:

Chargaff's law says the amount of A (adenine) = T (thymine) and G (guanine) = C (cytosine). If

G = 19% then C= 19%

19% + 19% = 38%

100% - 38% = 62%

62% for A and T

Divide by 2 and you get

31%

Knowing what tetanus toxin does to motor neuron activity, predict what would happen to the concentration of acetylcholine in the
jekas [21]
The tetanus is a disease caused by the bacterium Clostridium tetani. The Clostridium tetani is a normal inhabitant of the soil and can easily contaminate dirty wounds, especially those due to farm practices. In the body, these bacteria produce a toxin called tetanospasmin. The toxin enters the central nervous system which is the brain and spinal cord where it blocks the mechanisms that inhibit motor neurons from firing when a muscle is relaxed. With this inhibition removed, the neurons fire repeatedly and continually stimulates the muscle, causing painful and increasingly stronger muscle spasms. The masseter or jaw muscles are often the first muscles involved, and it is the spasm of these muscles that gives rise to tetanus' common name lockjaw, also called trismus. The muscles of the face, neck, back, and proximal limbs are also commonly affected. The contraction of the facial musculature leads to a characteristic facial expression with a teeth-baring grin and raised eyebrows. Contraction of the back muscles may cause the back to arch posteriorly.

luda_lava [24]
Harriet Beecher Stowe's novel Uncle Tom's Cabin was a book that worked to expose northerners to the evils of slavery. Harriet Beecher Stowe sought to write a book that would expose the horrors of slavery and to expose the injustices that were taking place in the American South that Northerners might not have been fully informed about at the time. The book was certainly not hailed as a marvelous work in the South and was instead decried and bashed because it sought to expose the practices employed in the South's use of slave labor.
