Answer:

tan(60°) =√3

Step-by-step explanation:

tan(60°) = sin (60°)/cos(60°) = (√3/2)/(1/2) = (√3/2)×(2/1)

tan(60°) =√3

Find the value of each variable using sine and cosine. Round your answers to the nearest tenth.
Anna [14]

Answer:

r = 19.0

s = 17.7

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given right triangle ABC,

Measure of Hypotenuse (AC) = 26

m(∠CAB) = 43°

By applying sine rule in the given triangle,

sin(43)° = \frac{\text{Opposite side}}{Hypotenuse}= \frac{BC}{AC}

sin(43)° = \frac{s}{26}

s = 26[sin(43)°]

s = 17.73

s ≈ 17.7

Similarly, by applying cosine rule in the given triangle,

cos(43)° = \frac{\text{Opposite side}}{Hypotenuse}= \frac{AB}{AC}

             = \frac{r}{26}

r = 26[cos(43)°]

r = 19.02

r ≈`19.0

Of the students at Washington Middle School, 320 signed up for the school picnic. That was 80% of all the students in the school
natima [27]
400 students attend Washington Middle School because 400*0.8=320. Therefore 320 students is 80% of 400 students.

CAN SOMEONE DEVELOPE A STASTICAL QUESTION FOR ME BECAUSE I HAD TO REDO THIS 2 TIMES AND I DONT GET IT THANKS
alexandr402 [8]
1. I want to know what percent of the school has birthdays in the summer
2. A form with the months of the year listed, so each participant can just circle the month they were born in. I’d have pencils and a form collection box.
3. I would give the form to every fifth student to leave the cafeteria on one day. I will count up how many forms were completed and how many forms have a summer birth month circled. Then I can find the percentage of students surveyed who have summer birthdays.
————————-

I think what they’re looking for it is for you to get information that reflects a part of a larger group of students.

Statistics always wants a randomized sample, giving everyone an equal chance to be surveyed and/or represented in the survey. Getting the survey done in one day, on people leaving the cafeteria, where everybody has to go at some point in a day, and choosing every fifth person keeps you from showing any bias to who you’re surveying.

Please comment if you have questions about this, or if your teacher asks for more information.
