Answer:

The comfortable midpoint in one's range is called the optimum pitch.

Explanation:

Our voices can be used at several different levels. Some will certainly feel more comfortable than others depending on each person. We all have a habitual level, the pitch in which we normally talk. However, the habitual pitch isn't necessarily the best one. The optimum pitch is the level in which it feels the most comfortable to speak, the level in which our voices sound natural. When using the optimum pitch, we do not get tired from speaking, that is, we do not strain our vocal tract.

monitta

As a writer, I like to start my books off with a brief intro of the main character (for example

"Hi my name is _______ I am ___ years old and _______. My life was normal until blank."

Not exactly that way, but i just like giving the readers a chance to get to known the main character before the actual story begins.

Hope this helps :)

How do actions and dialogue influence the outcomes in suspense situations?
chubhunter [2.5K]
Suspense gets readers not only physically but also emotionally invested in the characters by anticipating what they story, and in turn the characters', outcomes might be. Dialogue also works to thicken plot by implying actions that will take place later in a story.

Who wrote uncle tom's cabin?
Licemer1 [7]
Harriet Beecher Stowe is the person who wrote Uncle Tom's Cabin, in 1852. At the time it was published, it was either loved (usually by black people) or hated (by slave owners) because it was an anti-slavery book which portrayed a black slave as the humane person, and a white man as an evil person.
