Raw eggs can carry salmonella which is a infection that comes with a nasty symptoms like diarrhea, and abdominal pain. When the eggs become cooked, any sign of salmonella will be gone. It is unlikely for salmonella to occur on a cooked egg.

Eating raw egg could cause food poisoning because it could be contaminated with salmonella bacteria. When you cook an egg it kills off the bacteria.
