The colors in the Coronavirus one are brighter, besides the fact that the amount and shades of easily usable painting colors has increased since them, it reflects some of the brighter nature of the painting in terms of its meaning, which is that we can beat Coronavirus. The style of the Bubonic Plague painting, however, is more realistic down to it having a natural background to it for example. This could be to show how the painting emphasizes how death was always with them, everywhere. The emotions of the Coronavirus one are more hopeful-we can beat this if we prepare and react accordingly, as shown by how they're wearing a mask.
