The speaker wishes as what was portrayed in the stanza that he was back in his quiet home away from the market. It can be furthermore implied that the narrator is reminiscing about the place's past, wherein he thought about the peaceful driveways and the fields and mountains as he passes by.

In "Flowers for Algernon," what is one aspect of the text that
AveGali [126]

Answer:

D  He starts to spell badly again.

Explanation:

Daniel Keyes's science-fictional story "Flowers for Algernon," tells the story of Charlie Gordon, a mentally disabled man. The plot follows him from his mental disability to becoming intelligent to such an extent that he encompassed his peers but then reverted back to his old self, rendering him the same developmentally disabled man once again.

At the beginning of the text, we see Charlie as a mentally unstable and disabled man, prepped for a scientific experiment to help him become more intelligent. Then, after he became intelligent, he would do things better than the others. Throughout the "diary entry" of Charlie, we can see his development based on his writing skills.

First, he couldn't spell properly, then became better and excelled in it. He then again began to spell incorrectly, which is a sign of his deteriorating condition.

Thus, the correct answer is option D.

Differences between the Spanish Flu and coronavirus
STatiana [176]

Answer:

A major difference between Spanish flu and co-19 is the age distribution of fatalities,” according to Deutsche Bank DB, 1.13%. “For co-19, the elderly have been overwhelmingly the worst hit. For the Spanish flu of 1918, the young working-age population were severely affected too. In fact, the death rate from pneumonia and influenza that year among 25-34-year old in the United States was more than 50% higher than that for 65-74-year old. A remarkable difference to co-19.”
