Answer:

The descendants of the <em>"Anasazi"</em> are considered to be the native communities known as "Pueblo Indians". They group approximately 40,000 people from different communities living in the southwestern United States. Some of these communities are the Zuñi People who live in New Mexico and the Hopi People who live in Arizona.

This last group,  has questioned the name of Anasazi because they consider it a derogatory term used by the Navajo People who were enemies. They prefer to use the term <em>"Hisatsinom"</em> to refer to that ancient culture. It is not known with certainty if these communities are direct descendants of the old  <em>Hisatsionom </em>or  <em>Anasazi</em> (Navajo name) or if they only live in the same territory.

Another aspect to keep in mind is that the communities we know today as "Pueblo Indians" share certain cultural traits, especially in what has to do with architecture, but they have different cosmologies and speak different languages. It is unknown if the ancient <em>Anasazi</em> (Navajo name) or <em>Hisatsimon</em> culture was formed by a single community or if it was several groups that shared some cultural features.

Help me please!!<br><br> - What does the debate over welfare involve?
aleksandrvk [35]

<h2>Although the 1996 welfare reform legislation has produced a number of positive outcomes, there are serious issues facing the 107th Congress as it prepares to reauthorize the legislation by October 1, 2002. This policy brief discusses 13 important issues associated with the legislation and the controversy surrounding each of them. The issues include: funding of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program and whether states will retain the level of funding and flexibility in program design and operation they currently enjoy; the growing concern that some families are worse off as a result of sanctions or time limits, or because they failed to find or retain jobs after leaving welfare; and the concern that too many children are being reared by single mothers. Also at issue for the new Congress is whether there is enough money for child care, if more assistance should be provided to working poor families, and whether more should be done to help mothers qualify for better jobs.</h2>

PLEASE HELP!! FREEDOM OF SPEECH ESSAY! 15 POINTS!
Sveta_85 [38]

Explanation:

Freedom of speech is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction. The term "freedom of expression" is sometimes used synonymously but includes any act of seeking, receiving, and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.

Freedom of expression is recognized as a human right under article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). Article 19 of the UDHR states that "everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference" and "everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice". The version of Article 19 in the ICCPR later amends this by stating that the exercise of these rights carries "special duties and responsibilities" and may "therefore be subject to certain restrictions" when necessary "[f]or respect of the rights or reputation of others" or "[f]or the protection of national security or of public order (order public), or of public health or morals".
