The rhythm makes Aengus and his wandering seem more alive to me. It helps me feel the words and sense that time is passing by as Aengus wanders.

Ahat [919]

Answer:

D) D. Pedro I, D. Fernando, D. João.

Question:

They are chronicles of Fernão Lopes: 1 point

A) D. Pedro I, D. Fernando, D. Afonso. B) D. Fernando, D. João I, D. Afonso.

C) D. João I, D. Afonso, D. Pedro I.

D) D. Pedro I, D. Fernando, D. João

Explanation:

Fernão Lopes is a Portuguese historian. He was the first to be appointed and greatest of the Portuguese royal chroniclers.

In the 15th century King Duarte appointed Lopes to write the chronicles of Portugal from the monarchy’s origins to the time of John I. The chronicles gave an account of events in the ruling family and in the kingdom.

Most of Lopes' works up to the death of Alfonso IV  disappeared only some were later discovered in the 20th century.

Before those works were discovered, only Crónica de D. Pedro I (Chronicle of peter I),  Crónica de D. Fernando (Chronicle of Ferdinand I), and  Crónica de D. Joāo I ((Chronicle of King John I) were known to still be in existence.

Of the three, Crónica de D. Pedro I is the shortest, Crónica de D. Fernando is said to be much more elaborate, and Crónica de D. Joāo I is massive although it was left unfinished.

The chronicles of Fernão Lopes are:

D) D. Pedro I, D. Fernando, D. João.
