Answer:

A plan possible would be one that present an scenario of a chosen habitat as shallow waters (or deep waters), collecting defined groups of snapping shrimps from the Atlantic ocean, and an equivalent of groups from the Atlantic oceans, that live in that specific habitat.  The idea then would be to monitor if both groups can interact and interbreed producing  new mixed progeny in an artificial shallow waters habitat (or deeper waters habitat)

Explanation:

A species is defined as a group of organisms of a same type that are physically similar and live and share habitat and behaviours, and that are able to interbreed and produce progeny.

If shallow waters organisms, in this case, snapping shrimps, from Atlantic ocean, can interact and interbreed with those from Pacific ocean

Of course it's necessary to identify the test snapping shrimps from the groups to be able to have data of some kind
