When discussing slip resistant footwear, when we say there is a greater the amount of friction with a particular shoe and a surf
ace, which of the following statement is true? A. It is more likely that the shoe will slip while someone is walking
B. It is less likely that the shoe will slip while someone is walking
C. It does not make any difference in the likelihood of the shoe slipping
I believe the answer is: B. It is less likely that the shoe will slip while someone is walking
friction is resistance that exist on a surface on the opposite direction of our movement. Slips happen when the slippery surface cause your feet to move forward so fast and make you loss your balance. When the friction is high, the force would counteract the feet movement forward, and prevent the slipping.
I'm not sure about the donkey kong one but for the dog food one they see the reactions of dogs. They might have a human tester but i'm pretty sure no one would think dog food is good.
