The 3 angles need to equal 180

The middle angle is given as 100.

180 -100 = 80

There is an x on each side so you have 2x

2x = 80

X = 80/2

X = 40 degrees

Answer:

Each x should equal 40

Step-by-step explanation:

The total is equal to 180°. You already know that you have 100°. Then if you subtract 100° from 180° you will get 80°. Since you have two “x” you need to divide 80° by two and you’ll get 40°

Find the value of each expression. Show your work.
Verdich [7]

Answer:

A) (1.2)^{2} = 1.44

B)2^ 3+17-(3\times 4) = 13

C)\frac{(9)^2}{(3)^3} = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the given expressions are:

A) (1.2)^{2}

Solving this, we get

(1.2)^{2}  = 1.2  \times 1.2 = 1.44

⇒(1.2)^{2}  = 1.44

B) 2^ 3+17-(3\times 4)

Now, solving this, we get

2^ 3+17-(3\times 4) = (2 \times 2 \times2) + (17 -12)\\=8 + 5 = 13

⇒2^ 3+17-(3\times 4) = 13

C) \frac{(9)^2}{(3)^3}

Simplifying this, we get

\frac{(9)^2}{(3)^3} = \frac{(9\times9)}{(3 \times 3\times3)}  = 3

⇒ \frac{(9)^2}{(3)^3} = 3

Please help!posted picture of question

Answer:
\frac{x^2 - 5}{4x + 1}, x ≠ -1/4

Explanation:
We are given that:
f (x) = 4x + 1
g(x) = x² - 5

We want to find the value of (g/f)(x). This means that we will simply divide g(x) by f(x) as follows:
( \frac{g}{f} )(x) =  \frac{g(x)}{f(x)} =  \frac{x^2 - 5}{4x + 1}

Now, we should note that any function is undefined if its denominator is equal to zero.
This means that for our current function:
4x + 1 cannot be equal to zero
4x + 1 = 0
4x = -1
x = -1/4
This means that the value of x cannot be -1/4, otherwise, our function would be undefined.

Based on the above, the last option is the correct one.

Hope this helps :)
