C. Stereotyping

Stereotyping means assuming that a group of people or an individual has a whole range of characteristics and abilities, based on our own per-established conceptions about the society or group in which they are part. Our assumption isn't based on facts but on our beliefs, whether it's promoted by society or not.

By assuming that ALL Asian are excellent students, we are stereotyping Asian people, we're generalizing them and we're not taking into account the singleness and variety of them, because certainly, not all Asians are excellent students, some might be very bad at studying but may perform better in other areas.
