We as Americans are allowed to criticize our government without any punishment this plays into our freedom of speech (First Amendment). Other countries do not have this type of protection and we should be thankful to be able to criticize our own government without punishment or repercussions.

Which of these Australian Aboriginal populations would have suffered the LARGEST number of deaths in the 1780s and 1790s?
krok68 [10]

Answer:

C: Densely populated coastal settlements would have suffered the largest number of deaths.

Explanation:

After the Europeans started to settle in Australia, the Aborigines suffered multiple heavy hits. They were seen as primitive and useless, without value as people.

Europeans originally settled on the coast, where many Aborginals lived. They were carelessly murdered. Also, the diseases brought by the Europeans decimated the numbers of the Aborigines that were in contact with them, and very quickly their numbers went so low that they were on the verge of going extinct as people.

1890

In 1890, the Census Bureau announced the end of the frontier, meaning there was no longer a discernible frontier line in the west, nor any large tracts of land yet unbroken by settlement.
