These two equations from the question!
Fred + 6 = John , John + 4 = 2Fred

Now we’re going to use the 2nd equation:
John + 4 = 2Fred
(Fred + 6) + 4 = 2Fred
Fred + 10 = 2Fred
10 = Fred

Now we’re re going to use first equation:
Fred + 6 = John
10 + 6 = John

So, John is 16 years old!

Find the common difference of the sequence shown. 1/6, 1/3, 1/2 , 2
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

sequence should be 1/6,1/3,1/2,2/3

common difference=1/3-1/6=2/6-1/6=1/6

or 1/2-1/3=(3-2)/6=1/6

or c.d.=2/3-1/2=(4-3)/6=1/6

Which expression represents the sixth term in binomial expansion (2a-3b)^10
AysviL [449]

Therefore the sixth term in the binomial expansion is=-{10}C_5(2a)^{5} (3b)^5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

(2a -3b)^{10}

=^{10}C_0 (2a)^{10} + ^{10}C_1(2a)^9(-3b)+^{10}C_2(2a)^8(-3b)^2+...............+^{10}C_10(-3b)^{10}

So,

T_{n+1}= ^{10}C_n(2a)^{(10-n)} (-3b)^n

T_6=T_{(5+1)} =^{10}C_5(2a)^{10-5} (-3b)^5

Therefore the sixth term in the binomial expansion is= {10}C_5(2a)^{10-5} (-3b)^5

                                                                                         =-{10}C_5(2a)^{5} (3b)^5
