Answer :  Exact answer of area of circle= 2464 feet

Approximate answer of area of circle = 2461.76 feet

Explanation:

We have given that,

Circumference of a circle=56\pi feet

And we know that,

Cirumference of a circle= 2\pir

So,

<em> For exact answer we take the value of  \pi = \frac{22}{7},</em>

Now, 2\pir= 56\pi feet, where r is a radius

⇒r=\frac{56\pi}{2\pi }

⇒r= 28 feet

Now we will use the formula for the area of circle,

Area of circle= \pir²

                     = \frac{22}{7}×28×28

                     =\frac{17248}{7}

                     =2464 feet

So, the exact answer will be 2464 feet.

<em>Now ,we do for approximate value, we will use the value of \pi=3.14</em>

Circumference of circle = 56\pi  feet

                                       = 56 × 3.14 feet

                                       = 175.84 feet

So we use the formula of circumference again which is 2\pir

∴ 2\pir= 175.84

⇒2× 3.14× r= 175.84

⇒6.28 × r= 175.84

⇒ r= \frac{175.84}{6.28}

⇒ r=28 feet

Now, Area of circle= \pi r²

                     =3.14×28×28 feet

                     =2461.76 feet

Hence , Area of circle in both the cases will be 2464 feet and 2461.76 feet respectively.

Larry took out an 80/20 mortgage on a $225,000 home. What is the amount financed under the first mortgage? A.$45,000 B.$180,000
ryzh [129]
An 80/20 payment means 80% will be paid as mortgage and 20% will be the piggyback loan. Therefore, the mortgage will be:
0.8 x 225,000
= $180,000

The answer is B.

A landscaper has a total of $800 to spend on bushes at $20 each and trees at $50 each
NemiM [27]

Answer:

x=40 y=16

Step-by-step explanation:

20x+50y=800 you can turn it into slope-intercept form and it would end up being y=-2/3x+16 so now you have your y intercept (16) and you know your rise and run -2(rise)3(run).

Or you can substitute a zero for x and solve for y

20(0)+50y=800 which equals 50y=800 which equals 16 y=16

then you substitute a zero for y and solve for x

20x+50(0)=800 which equals 20x=800 which equals 40 x=40

A coconut is a fruit that is made up of a hard outer shell that is spherical. Inside, there is a thick layer of coconut meat
Ivenika [448]

Answer:  There is room for

approximately 33.49 in^3 of coconut milk.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, we have to calculate the volume of milk inside the coconut:

First, we have to find the diameter of that volume that is equal to the diameter of the entire coconut minus the thickness of the coconut meat:

5-1 = 4 in (diameter)

Now, we simply have to apply the next formula:

Volume of a sphere: 4/3 π radius^3

Since: radius = diameter /2

V = 4/3 π (d/2)^3

Replacing with the values given:

V = 4/3 (3.14) ( 4/2)^3 = 33.49 in3
