So, to put it simply, a hyperbole is a statement, but it’s not supposed to be taken literal. It’s an exaggeration. And you want one for thanksgiving... so it could be something like:

“The thanksgiving feast at my house was so big, it could’ve fed an army.”

Now we know that this person didn’t have enough food at that feast to feed an actual army, but from this hyperbole, we know that there was a lot of food at this feast.

This testimony turns intensely personal for a few moments before Ellie is able to get a handle on her emotions and direct Coop toward Katie and her treatments. Coop speaks about the dissociative state and how it relates to Katie's case. Coop suggests that the death of the infant from natural causes would be enough to cause Katie to block out the child's death. The prosecution questions Coop and tries to put holes in his case. Finding this to only be marginally successful, the prosecution asks Coop about his relationship with Ellie, suggesting their intimate relationship has something to do with his testimony.
