Overall the cause of the World War was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand because Nationalism was a great cause for World War one because of countries being greedy and not negotiating.
The temperance movement was about bringing Americans to have overall better health and eliminating social ills by using religious sentiment. One of these problems was the over use of Alcohol. The Temperance Movement had overall great effects for the economy providing better healthcare and overall American health. The Temperance Movement did help with ALL of the above, however it was originally established to do one thing solely.
That one thing would be “C: To end the consumption of alcohol”
