Answer: The New deal projects were programs by the Roosevelt administration designed to alleviate the problems of the Great Depression and they focused on 3 main goals which were; relief for the needy, economic recovery and

financial reforms

Explanation: The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) is one of the programs under the New deal project. The CCC employed almost 3million men aged 18-25 between 1933 and 1942. These men planted ober 3billion trees and developed over 800 state parks. In addition they built more than 46000 bridges.

Another program under this project was the Works Progress Administration (WPA) which built 850 airports and over 125000 public buildings. This program painted murals on school walls and other public buildings as well as performed in theatre troupes all over the country. It constructed and repaired over 651000 miles of road and emlpoyed women to make more than 300million garments for the needy.

Most notable about the WPA is that it employed about 8million workers, most of whom were unskilled and spent about 11billion dollars.

Answer:

C. to protect the country's natural resources and use them more efficiently.

Explanation:

According to a different source, these are the options that come with this question:

A. to expand the number of national parks, cemeteries, and memorials in the country.

B. to remove invasive plants and insects that killed trees from infested areas.

C. to protect the country's natural resources and use them more efficiently.

D. to create a windbreak that would prevent future dust storms by planting trees.

When it came to environmental goals, this was the main reason why some New Deal projects such as the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Works Progress Administration (WPA) were created. The two instutions were interested in protecting the country's natural resources and use them more efficiently. This was considered particularly important at the time due to the negative effects of the Dust Bowl on the people and the economy of the country.
