Let Tritt's age = t & Jan's age = 2t - 3

if the sum of their ages equals 30 then..
t + 2t - 3 = 30
combine terms and simplify
3t = 27
now simply divide
t = 9
and to find Jan's age just plug 9 in
2(9) - 3
18 - 3 = 15

Jan's age = 15
Tritt's age = 9

Find the equation of a circle with a center at (1, 4) where a point on the circle is (4, 8). ( x - 1) 2 + ( y - 4) 2 = 25 ( x -
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

<u>  (x-1)^4    +  (y-4)^2  = 25 </u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Center at 1,4 means the circle is of the form:

   (x-1)^4    +  (y-4)^2  = r^2

Find r^2 using distance formula from center to the given point

 r ^2 = ( 8-4)^2 + (4-1)^2

 r^2 = 16 +9 = 25

so you answer is     <u>  (x-4)^4    +  (y-8)^2  = 25 </u>

Keno

|\Omega|=10^2=100\\|A|=6\cdot4=24\\\\P(A)=\dfrac{24}{100}=\dfrac{6}{25}=24\%

Angelita

|\Omega|=10\cdot9=90\\|A|=6\cdot4=24\\\\P(A)=\dfrac{24}{90}=\dfrac{4}{15}\approx26,7\%

Therefore, the answer is Angelita.
