Semenov [28]
Hi there!

Well, yes and no. The US Constitution is the supreme law it answers all the big questions and issues. But, it does leave a lot things for each state to cover in it's own constitution.

I hope this helps!

What did the Guana islands act allow the United States to do?
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

A. A claim new islands in the pacific

Explanation:

The Act was enacted in August 18, 1856. At that time, many of the islands in Caribbean/pacific territories were not affiliated with any government.

The act allowed citizens of United States to claim any lands within these regions that contain Guano deposits.

This made a lot of weapon and agricultural producers claimed new islands in the pacific since Guana can be used as a material for gun powders and soil fertilizer.

Do you think Hammurabi code was too severe? why or why not ( write one paragraph state your opinion and provide three reasons )
taurus [48]
I think some parts of Hammurabi's code were too severe. I believe this because sometimes it affected innocent people. Some occasions of this are when a man's son is killed because of the father building something faulty. Sometimes it is fair though such as when a man who is too lazy to fix his dam causes it to flood and he has to pay for the crops lost in the flood.
