1. Both roman republic and United States have a tripartite system. That means the government is made up of three branches. The three branches are legislative, judicial, and executive

2. Both governments have the power to veto. Veto means "i forbid" in the United States only the president has the power to veto. In a roman republic only the two consoles have power to veto.

3. Both governments have a checks and balances system. That means no branch in the government can take all of the power

4. Republicanism is present in the governing system of Roman Republic and US.

There are some similarities and differences in the governments of Roman Republic and United States was being noticed. Firstly both the governments are republican in nature and it consists of three tier system that is legislative, judicial and executive.
