Answer: Examples of health degrees of closeness between parents and their children are emotion and warmth while the unhealthy degress of closeness between parents and their children is the deprivation of necessary attention and support the children needs from their parents.

Explanation: The emotion and warmth reciprocated by the parents and the children always leads to healthy relation between them. they will always rely on their parents completely to show them the correct way. When the parent gives that ample time and support to their children that the children deserves, the child will then learn these qualities and will act in a similar way throughout adulthood.

If the children are deprived of the necessary attention and support that they need from their parents, the child then will be unable to give that to their future relationships, future children or family because they will not know how to do it the right way.

Answer:

a decrease in her intrinsic motivation.

Explanation:

According to self-determination theory, the impact of this reward system is likely to be a decrease in her intrinsic motivation of reading books and writing short stories. The self-determination theory states that it is vital for psychological well-being to be in control of one´s destiny. So, the impact of this reward can only be detrimental to Nikki's intrinsic motivation for reading books and writing short stories. Being extrinsically rewarded makes intrinsic motivation decrease.
