One reason is that China is geographically closer to North Korea than the United States is. Also, both China and North Korea are communist countries, and China fought with North Korea during the Korean War, while the United States fought against North Korea.

Unlike China, the United States has threatened North Korea multiple times. From promising to "nuke" them, to spreading things about the country that may or may not be true, the United States has not been friendly to North Korea. China and North Korea, however, trade often. Therefore, North Korea would be closer to China than the United States.

ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

B. Foods that grow well in a region can become part of that region's culture

Explanation:

The people have pretty much inhabited most of the planet. Because the people can be found almost everywhere, that means that they are living in all sorts of climates, thus they have some benefits and restrictions when it comes to the type of food they consume. The plants and animals are adapted to live in certain conditions, so they can be found at some regions, but not at others. This has lead to development of unique dishes in accordance to what is available for eating, so over time the food that is available at a particular region has become part of the culture of the people that live there.
