Answer:

Hildegard of Bingen instilled her music with emotional expression by feeling the energy of her music and associating it with the text creating serenely beautiful music.

She was a saint of the church and was also a poet and songwriter. She was significant because she set many of her texts to music and had brilliant imagery and creative language.

Explanation:

Hildegard of Bingen  is one of the first opera composers in history. She was abbess of two monasteries, which she drew herself. Wrote books of medicine, theology and philosophy. She exchanged over 400 letters with popes and kings.

Hildegarda de Bingen was kind of a popstar of her time. She was beatified only in 1940, but since the Middle Ages she was considered an important saint.

The nun was born in Bermersheim vor der Höhe, in present-day Germany. From the age of three she had visions - in fact, she would describe them as complete sensory experiences that altered her five senses.
