Answer:

Urbanization is the increase in the number of people living in the urban areas. More than half of the worlds population live in the urban areas. Urbanization occurs mainly through 2 ways-Rural - urban migration and increase in the number of people living in a particular area. Such that small towns start getting bigger and bigger.

Explanation:

However, some urbanization happen at different speed and time. Urbanization of Eastern Asia is happening at a faster speed over a small times compared to developed economies within the same period. Urbanization of of Eastern Asia in the last 20 years is seem to be the fastest urbanization growing from 18%  to 60% between 1950 to 2015.

While similar growth in population in advanced economies happened within 80 years and above.

The dearth of infrastructures in the rural areas are forcing the exponetial increase of population in the urban areas, especially in the developing economies.

What's responsible for causing eutrophication in waterways?
Scilla [17]

Answer:

The use of fertilizers

Explanation:

Eutrophication simply implies the increase in nutrient or nutrient enrichment.

Commonly, waterways are connected to other water bodies. When water from farmlands washes fertilizers into them, there is an increase the available nutrient. Overtime, the water can be oversaturated with nutrients and this would lead to eutrophication. We can attribute eutrophication to human activities.
