Answer:

a function of RNA

Explanation:

RNA (Ribonucleic acid) and DNA (Deoxyribose nucleic acid) are the two nucleic acids

(an organic biomolecule) known. They (RNA and DNA) are polymers made up of the same building blocks called nucleotides. The difference in their structure lies in the sugar type (Ribose in RNA and Deoxyribose in DNA) and Nitrogenous base (Thymine in DNA and Uracil in RNA).

RNA are of different types based on the functions they carry out. The function depicted in the question is performed by a RNA molecule, specifically, the transfer RNA (tRNA). The tRNA is a special type of RNA that matches an mRNA codon with the amino acid it encodes. In other words, the tRNA reads the mRNA codon, and carries the amino acid it encodes to the growing polypeptide. This occurs during the process of translation.

The statement given is the function of RNA.There are three types RNA. Messenger RNA (mRNA) molecules carry the coding sequences for protein synthesis. Rribosomal RNA (rRNA) molecules form the ribosomes, ribosomes are the site of protein synthesis. Transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules carry amino acids and add to the chain of amino acids to form polypeptide chain or protein molecule.

Which statements best describe how the Great Rift Valley in Africa formed? Check all that apply.
leva [86]

The answer is;

The rift valley formed when the crust pulled apart.

The rift valley formed at a divergent boundary.

Divergent boundaries occur when two adjacent convection currents in the mantle are spinning in opposite directions. This causes the upper crust to stretch creating tension due to drag in different directions on the local region. The tension causes the crust to crack severally and the middle crust block dropping in comparison to flanking regions.
