Why was the sharecropping so common among the poor ?
Brilliant_brown [7]

B. This system required no cash investment. The sharecropping is an old agricultural system, where the landowner is payed for the use of his land by the tenants with part of the production. This system is beneficial to the poor given that it encourages them to live on the land, with both their subsistence and payment for the land coming from the crops (which efficiency depends on most parts on their efforts).

Explain how a new sense of identity lead to the rebellion of the colonists. how did they previously view themselves? why did thi
mixer [17]

Well, the new sense of identity led the colonist to have a desire for independence. They viewed themself as independent from Britain, as their own nation pretty much. The British Crown misunderstood that the colonists increasingly saw themselves as a separate people, due to their own voice in their own affairs. The American war for independence was partly a product of the colonists' sense of a distinctive identity as inhabitants of a republican society. But the revolution also helped to nurture a sense of a uniquely American identity. The Revolution was a colonial war for independence, but it was also a struggle over "who would rule at home."

How are free-trade area and a customs union alike and different
gavmur [86]

Free trade and custom union is similar based on internal arrangements.

Explanation:

In case of free trade no tariff is required but each and every member state is free to set their own external tariff. On the other hand the custom union is not having any tariff but all members of custom union has a same external affair.

In case of free trade all the barriers regarding trade among the member countries are not there. On the other hand the custom union develops a common trade with respect to the non members.

One of the example of free trade is NAFTA and on the other hand the example of custom union is single market.
