Migration is a way to move from one place to another in order to live and work. Movement of people from their home to another city, state or country for a job, shelter or some other reasons is called migration. Migration from rural areas to urban areas has increased in past few years in India.

Hope it helped :)

Answer:

Disadvantages

migration pointJob loss:

Immigrants may also cause pressure on job issues as the locals often lose jobs to incoming workers.

migration pointDiscrimination/racism:

Immigration can fuel racism and discrimination. Immigrants who cannot speak the local language or do not behave like the locals often find themselves not accepted in their communities, as people prefer not to have anything to do with them.

migration pointSocial/Civil Pressure:

Housing, health, education and many other facilities may suffer from the pressure of excessive use by more people than it was designed to take. This can force prices of such amenities to go high, causing hardship to all.

migration pointBreakdown of culture and traditions:

Traditions and cultures are negatively modified because of diversity. Sometimes healthy ways of lives are lapsed as different people are exposed to different ways of doing things. Sometimes new crime incidents emerge or increase as a result of ‘bad’ people coming in.

migration pointDiseases:

As long as people move from place to place, there is a risk of contagious disease outbreak.

When considering why Henry was irritated with his mother in The Red Badge of Courage, the most effective reading strategy to realize this is reading between the lines to infere. At any moment it is said that he feels irritated with her, but there are two instances in chapter 1 that shows that. The first one is when he prepared himself emotionally for a warm welcome from his mother and she seemed cold and far away from him, while the other is when he was about to leave to the army and his mother gave him a moral speech. 'It had not been quite what he expected.' Whe can infere that he expected a hug, a kiss and an I love you, instead of rules of good behavior.

Answer:

It is trying to ask "What dominant (biggest or strongest) trait is causing more problems."

A dominant trait is the trait that is a big part of who you are and affects your life heavily.

So think of the most dominant trait the main character has, and reflect on how much it affects their life and/or makes it hard for them.

I hope this helps.

DerKrebs [107]

Short answer:

 • It hurts Waverly when her mother tries to make it look better, so she does not like it.
 • The best torture is not about physical pain; it is about mental torture.

Explain and support your ideas/claims with text evidence.

Her mother does her hair. It can be seen in the discussion. Her mother "twisted and yanked on my thick black hair until she formed two tightly wound pigtails" in the morning. Waverly hated it when her mother did her hair. This text shows Her mother twists and yanks her hair into tight pigtails, indicating she was upset with her hairstyle. She disliked her mother's hairstyle.

"We do torture. best torture. "

Understanding the meaning of a lesson is less important to me than learning it. Throughout the story, Waverly uses a number of methods. It was not the "best torture." Torture does not have to be painful to be effective. Tormenting someone's mind requires great pain. Because he is mentally tortured, Waverly is good at chess. So, her mother was correct when she said that "We torture people all the time." It is the best thing that could happen. " "We do torture." "The best torture," she says, without referring to physical pain. For her, the best way to torture someone is to make them feel bad about themselves. The best torture.
