Answer:

If all angles in a quadrilateral are right angles, then it’s a rectangle (reverse of the rectangle definition). (Actually, you only need to show that three angles are right angles — if they are, the fourth one is automatically a right angle as well.)

If the diagonals of a parallelogram are congruent, then it’s a rectangle (neither the reverse of the definition nor the converse of a property).

If a parallelogram contains a right angle, then it’s a rectangle (neither the reverse of the definition nor the converse of a property).

Tip: Do the following to visualize why this method works: Take an empty cereal box and push in the top flaps. If you then look into the empty box, the top of the box makes a rectangular shape, right? Now, start to crush the top of the box — you know, like you want to make it flat before putting it in the trash. As you start to crush the top of the box, you see a parallelogram shape. Now, after you’ve crushed it a bit, if you take this parallelogram and make one of the angles a right angle, the whole top has to become a rectangle again. You can’t make one of the angles a right angle without the other three also becoming right angles.

Hey, sorry I couldn't help you more on this but, to me it doesn't really look like a rectangle, but it could be the pov of the camera. In order for something to be a rectangle it has to follow these four rules:

- The opposite sides are parallel and congruent

- The diagonals bisect each other

- There are four right angles

- The diagonals are congruent

Answer:

A. Incorrect

B. Incorrect

C. Correct

D. Incorrect

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 5x + 6 means that Player A had 6 points and got 5 points per question.

The equation for the linear function is y = 2x + 6 because Player B had 6 points and gains 2 points per question.

A is incorrect because Player B gains 2 points and Player A gains 5 points

B. is incorrect because both of them have 6 points

C. is correct because Player A gains 5 points while Player B gains 2 points

D. is incorrect because there is already a correct answer and the evidence we needed was not given

1. If the domain of a function f(x) is the set {10, 20, 30}. What does the information tell you about f-1(x)?
ziro4ka [17]

PART A (1 in diagram)

Each mapping diagram represents a function because none of the elements in the inputs maps on to two different elements in the outputs.

1. The domain of the given function f(x) is the set {10, 20, 30}.

All we can say about

{f}^{ - 1} (x)

is that, it has a range of {10, 20, 30}.

This is because the domain of a function becomes the range of its inverse function.

2. If the graph of a function f(x) includes the point (3, 0), then the graph of the inverse function ,

{f}^{ - 1} (x)

will contain the point (0,3).

Reason:The point on the graph of the inverse function is obtained by reflecting the corresponding point on the graph of the function in the line y=x. We just have to swap the coordinates.

In simple terms the domain of the function becomes the range of the inverse function and vice versa.

3. If the first term in an arithmetic sequence is 2.

Then we have a=2.

If the twelfth term is 211, then

a + 11d = 211...(1)

Put a=2 into this equation.

2 + 11d = 211

Solve for d.

11d = 211 - 2

11d = 209

d =  \frac{209}{11}  = 19

If

a_n = 135

then

a + (n - 1)d = 135

Substitute a=2 and d=19

2 + (n - 1)19 = 135

19(n - 1) = 133

(n - 1) =  \frac{133}{19}

n - 1 = 7

n = 7 + 1 = 8

Therefore n=8

The Ratio of men to women in a certain factory is 3 to 4. There are 198 men. How many workers are there?
klemol [59]

So 3:4::198:?. 3 is to 198 as 4 is to ?. You're solving for ? so you want that on the top of the fraction. 4/3=?/198. Multiply both sides by 198. ?=(4/3)(198)=264 women. Then add the men. 264+198=462 workers.

Check your work. (462/7)*3=198 men.
