Albert Fall was an American politician that was involved in the Teapot Dome scandal. Fall was Secretary of the Interior under President Warren G. Harding. However, in April 1922, the <em>Wall Street Journal</em> reported that Fall had taken bribes in exchange of allowing two of his friends (Harry F. Sinclair and Edward L. Doheny) to get leases to drill in parts of the Naval Reserves without open bidding. He was found guilty of conspiracy and bribery and sentenced to jail for one year.
