You would probably be afraid and saddened by being forced from your house, and going to a almost prisoner-of-war-camp. I hope this helps!

There are many things that would go through the mind of someone in that situation. First of all, a native-born Japanese American would have doubted the news, as it is difficult to believe that your own democratic government would force you to abandon your home. Secondly, you might also wonder why you are not consider to be full American, even though you were born in the country and might not even have a strong attachment to Japan. Afterwards, you might be sad to leave, and might even be depressed while being away from your home. Finally, when everything is over, you might still have anger or resentment towards the government for putting you through that experience, and for not giving everything it took from you back to you.

Many people in Italy, Spain, Germany, and Japan were eager to give up on democracy because they were anxious for the leadership, protection, and guidance that these rulers apparently offered
