Both productions " The Spanish Tragedy" and "Tamburlaine the great" played an important role in the performance as they come up with the new ideas of rhythms and verses. Marlows play was the first English play with the blank verse. However, Thomas Kyd introduces the new genre of revenge as it includes violent murders. Such type of characters made the actors more passionate on the stage.
