Answer:

B. Cuba adopted communism as its form of government.

Explanation:

The political system of Cuba has been, since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution (January 1959), that of a popular democracy, with a socialization (nationalization and, sometimes, cooperativization) of the means of production. For almost fifty years, Cuba was led by Fidel Castro, first as prime minister (1959) and then as president of the Council of State, and the Council of Ministers (1976), the highest executive body, afterwards presided over by his brother Raúl Castro , currently by Miguel Díaz Canel, president of the Council of State of Cuba and the Council of Ministers since April 19, 2018. He is the first Cuban leader born after the Cuban Revolution who has reached such positions.
