Explain the meaning of position, displacement, and distance traveled as they apply to an object moving along a line.
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

A position is a position of an object (whether it's a person, a ball, or a particle) at a particular point in time.

Displacement is the difference in position of an object from one point in time to another.

Distance is the total distance an object has traveled over a period of time.

In geometry and mechanics, the vector whose length is the shortest distance from the start point to the end point of a moving point P is called displacement.

A displacement is a number that describes how far apart an object or point is. In physics or everyday use, distance can refer to estimates based on physical length or other criteria.

Distance is the distance an object moves or changes direction. The position of an object within the reference frame is called its position

GuDViN [60]

Answer:

double-barreled question

Explanation:

A double-barreled question is a question that comprises two or more topics or issues , but is expected to have just one answer. A double barreled question is sometimes referred to as an informal fallacy. It also be called a double-direct question or compound question. It is usually advisable to avoid such questions in  survey, but can be used in court during cross examination or other researches.

For example the question above touches on two separate issues: the use of reinforcement and the use of punishment at the same time, by parents, as a means to increase the likelihood of desirable behaviors in their children. describe two grievances that you have against the King of England and how the king has violated the natural rights of the coloni
stiks02 [169]
The King overstepped our rights when he began to unfairly tax us for the French and Indian War. He mistrusted us too and sent Lobster Backs (or red coats) to towns to avoid a rebellion. Most of them were assigned to Boston. (Where most of our patriots lived). Not only did the soldiers take up room in our cities... but they were RUDE. When the Boston Massacre happened they unfairly slaughtered our Whigs. (We may have stretched the truth there a little bit using propaganda but STILL.) After all and all we sent the king one more chance to avoid war- but he ignored the paper and didn't even LOOK at it.
